Wentworth Byron Winslow

Wentworth Byron Winslow was a Journal listed practitioner from 1906 to 1938. He wrote four books around one and the same theme, God: God can do it, God is doing it, God will do it and last Let God do it. This series on God and Christian Science healing are filled with a total of 123 short articles describing the revelations as they unfolded to the author. He uses parables and related healings to share the higher vision of the allness of God. One of the healings describes a young man that was pronounced dead on the operating table and was healed by the author.

The contents of these volumes “are the out-croppings of parables, stories, and interpretations written or related by the author in his daily efforts for over a third of a century, to bring joy to the sorrowful, surcease to the suffering, healing to the sick, food to the hungry, and life to the dead; in other words to bring to seekers after Truth the vision of the Christ,–the light of Mind, whereby they too might behold the Kingdom of God, even as he himself beholds it.” Introduction from Let God do it, p. vii.
