Mental suggestion may be what is called good or evil; in both cases it is followed by harm. When the mental suggestion is directly harmful, such as, “ He cannot possibly do the work,” it is called aggressive mental suggestion. When it is not of a directly harmful kind, such as, “ You will be able to do that work very well,” it is called mental sugges tion. One can work against this by realising that there is no mental suggestion, only God’s thoughts come to man ; God is the only speakei and the only hearer.
