There is no matter, all is Spirit and the manifestation of Spirit. There is neither large nor small in Spirit, man lives and moves and has his being in Spirit, and is made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit. Man is the compound idea of God, and reflects or manifests God, being “ the express image of bis person ” (Hcb. I : 3). There is no material cause and effect, the only cause is God. Man’s food never makes him stout, for man’s food is the ideas of God, which man understands and assimilates perfectly, and radiates forth again to the joy of infinite beings. Man is perfect, eternal, infinite, the perfect expression of a glorious God. “ Spirit blesses the multiplication of its own pure and perfect ideas. From the infinite elements of the one Mind emanate all form, colour, quality, and quantity, and these are mental, both primarily and secondarily" (S. & H. p. 512).
