Mary Baker Eddy states that we are barraged from all sides with every form of evil that is possible ~ beyond imagination. When a problem is solved, another problem arises. We must be focused on Truth with the strength of omnipotent Mind. Mind is incorporeal, divine, supreme & infinite. If we give in or give up, we will not be able to achieve success over evil. We will submit to it, and then we're finished. We have failed perseverance test.
The behest of God is that we pray all the time, every moment by living the qualities of God.

What is prayer? 

Prayer is how we think and how we conduct ourselves. We have to be doing it with the theme of Spirit and not matter ~ immortal Mind, not mortal mind.
