And if so, why? The answer is “yes,” and “why,” is because we
are a Christian nation, founded on the understanding that God,
Spirit, is the only lawgiver, and on the understanding of the
precepts and principles given in the Holy Bible.
These principles of forgiveness and compassion, based upon a
knowledge of One, all-loving, good God, have been the spiritual
glue that have held this nation together. Our children grew up,
taught at home how to think and act as Christians. Statesmen
made laws based on the law of God, and the people of the world
came to America, adopted our way of thinking and doing, and we
became as one country.
Without this spiritual glue, this oneness of purpose in an
all-loving Creator, we have become lost, no longer having a
Principle of unity. Only as we come together again, with our
love for God and the Holy Bible, do we regain our compassion and
justice for all people.
It is with this demand in mind that the Mary Baker Eddy Science
Institute shares with the world, the following important 160
page book: “The Bible for Everyman,” by Rosalie Maas.
